Ferrari has a fantastic temperament. She is a true pocket pony and an attention-grabber. All visitors to Cashel seem to be drawn to her paddock to say hello and she is more than happy to oblige!
As a yearling, Ferrari stood at 15’3 and had incredible movement and a beautiful pitch black coat that doesn’t go unnoticed. She has a beautiful topline, with an outstanding neck and headset. She showed tremendous physical ability and expected to excel in the higher level dressage rings. She would also do well in the hunter ring as she has beautiful form over fences and is fancy on the flat as well.
F1′s sire, Furst Grandios, was reserve champion at his licensing and champion stallion at his 30-day test in Prussendorf where he received top scores for his gaits, rideability (9.13) and jumping (8.25). He has produced numerous champion foals.
Ferrari’s damsire, Rheirattack, was the first ever Canadian-bred dressage stallion to be approved as a breeding stallion by the Oldenburg Verband, and is the first Canadian-bred horse to be listed in the WBFSH dressage rankings. Rheirattack is a well balanced, rhythmic and powerful stallion with a gentle temperament. His compact back and his natural ability to collect and carry weight through his hind legs allows him to excel at the most demanding dressage movements such as canter pirouette, passage, and piaffe.
